Why are some bathrooms designed with so much space on the side of the toilet? This extra space allows room to transfer from a wheelchair, or a place to park a walker, or even room for an aide to assist. We never know when something will happen to us, so it’s best to plan ahead and design your bathroom so it will be “Accessible” for every stage of life!
